(23) Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. (24) They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (25) “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,” therefore I hope in Him!” (26) The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. It is good that one should hope and wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (The Adrian Rogers Legacy Bible) NKJV
“If you woke up this morning and you’re still here-God still has a plan for your life!” (Adrian Rogers)
Have you thought about taking the time to write out what all you have gone through in your life-time so far and how you were able to walk through it with God.
When we go through things here on this earth, He does have a purpose for it. He wants us to be ready when someone needs help. If you write the events down, you will have a better idea about what you did to get through it and then you can speak from your heart. If God sent a special someone to help you through it, you will love the idea of being a person who can be used by God in the same way.
It is really important that we don’t just go through something and forget all that went on during that journey. I never did write things down in a journal; I wrote it on note paper and so much has been lost over the years. My daughter has many journals. She has them from when her children were just babies on through the college years. She can take those journals out whenever she wants to go back to those times and just sit and enjoy it or cry over it whenever she wants to.
