Colossians 3:12-13a

And so, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone, just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.

When I read this verse, I realized why God had me caring for women. I so want the Lord to use me as I work with women.

We all have someone in our lives that He wants us to help; this verse helps us to get ready for that calling which He places on us. If we do not have all of those attributes listed by the Lord, how can we help those in need? If He brings anyone to us we need to be prepared to speak for the Lord the best we can.
