Genesis 2:18: The LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”

This passage talks about God creating man’s complement, a woman. By the very name God gave her, He expressed the purpose for woman’s creation.  God’s perspective was for her to complete him; she was to be the completion of what was missing before the creation of woman.
